Should file output versioning be updated?

$ valentina -v Checked locale: “en_US” Valentina 0.4.5.3

but data files, .val encode the version as 0.2.4

perhaps it should be updated? or perhaps it is kept at an older version for comparability? Platform: Linux

No. This is information about file format. What point in saving the app version info inside a pattern?

Unfortunately we don’t teach pattern making here. Valentina is for people that have already some level of skills.
