Copying a curve

For drawing my sleeve, I would need to copy and flipping a curve according to the method I am following, is it possible ? Thank you

Screenshots please, it will help us quickly help ypu.

Hi Spencer, Normally according to the method I am following, I should have copied the curve A 150-A174 and flip it to get A 174-A172. Is it possible ? I tried to do it another way but it is not the same. Thanks for having a look.

Normally, you could use the tool “Flipping Objects by Axis”:

image

Click on the Tool, select the curve and the points that you’d like to copy and filp while holding the CTRL key, hit Enter when done. Select a point where you’d like it to flip from that hasn’t been selected previously. Select the Horizontal Axiz from the menu that pops up and OK.

In the case above, I selected the curve, Point A24 and Point A19. You can see the curve is still highlighted in pink and the points have “a5” added to the point number.

Before doing this, I’d suggest making a group of the bodice pattern so that you can hide it while you’re creating your sleeve, if you wish.
